IVA Form Query/help
Morning all
I've almost completed my iva forms etc, however one question (4w) I could do with some advice on.
4w) What is the maximum power AND the engine speed at which is is obtained?
My engine is a 2.0 zetec which in original state would of produced 130 bhp at ? rpm, however the engine is now running 40mm jenvey T/B with an omex
ecu. So do i give them the original bhp engine figures or the new figures which i know are approx 134bhp at the wheels?
If i have to give them the new figures does anyone have a calculation as to what the bhp would be at the flywheel? Also I've no idea at what the
rpm would be for either bhp figures so if anyone could help me in that area that would also be a great help.
Sorry, one other thing, question 4u what is the cylinder capacity? I've put 2000cc, I'm imagining though that it would actually be
something like 1998cc, does this have to be dead accurate or will the 2000cc do?
Many thanks
Leon

Mine is a 'standard' 2.0 silvertop. I therefore put 130bhp @ 6400rpm. Increase your values a bit but the figures (as far as I know)
aren't used at any point throughout the process.
I used 1998 for the capacity.

The question is asking for max power and what revs but they only use it to calcuate the revs at which to do the noise test (3/4 of max power revs).
If you put 130bhp and 6400rpm you'll be fine. If you fib a little about the revs, to reduce the noise test revs, you'll probably be fine
as well... just don't take the wee and say 4000; Thats a lie not a fib. 6100 would probably be OK.
