DVLA help with registration forms
Hi there on the v55/4 form I have a couple of questions
1) is the vehicle exempt from type approval?
My thoughts are no hence IVA
2) year of registration?
Well it's not registered yet but do I put 2014?
3) registration fee?
I will be enclosing a cheque for £55, but I don't get the tax payable bit?
On the v627/1 form I'm asked
-year in which rebuild was completed?
-was the vehicle rebuilt by you?
Do I answer these as it wasn't rebuilt it was built from scratch with an Mk chassis
Sorry if these seem simple but I don't want to get it wrong!

The car is exempt from type approval, hence the IVA.
Yep, 2014 for registration year
Tax band is PLG (private light goods) - this was £77 for 6 months when I sent mine off in September.
On the V627 I think I put something like...
-year in which rebuild was completed? "New - built from kit"
-was the vehicle rebuilt by you? "New kit built by myself
Hopefully what I've said is right. It's been a while since I filled out the forms. Are you going for new or Q plate?

Thanks for your reply, I'm going for Q plate, it would be nice to have a new plate but I very much doubt I would ever get one as your only
allowed one reconditioned part which is my engine, but then I still have all the seirra running gear which obviously isn't new, either way
I'm not bothered by a Q plate so long as its on the road and legal
