Having a Q plate just means it has been made up of random major components which have not been proven to be new.
Does the log book have the same Q registration on it?
If it's a different reg, it's obviously not the same car so steer clear.
If the reg is correct, then fine, i'd be looking at when the car was first registered on the road.
IVA took effect from 29 April 2009, was SVA before this, and if you go back far enough you wouldn't even need SVA.
The make and model on the V5 would have been taken from whatever the owner registered at the time, and i doubt DVLA would have questioned this even if
we know that it was wrong.
I can't see sloppy paperwork could say an MK Indy from late 90s on, is described as a Sylvia 1985.
It must be deliberate, and as the other comment said, most likely is it's an old Sylva bought as an old nail, and they stick the v5 on a newer
MK Indy.
Yeah I'm steering clear.. shame as it looks very well built. As already said, it's amazing that people cut corners after going to the
trouble of building.

Sylvia is not a kit car manufacturer I have ever heard of, but it's entirely possible that the original car (i.e. that the plates belong to) was

Not sure why more kits weren't built with that engine, 2.0l turbo 200-250hp, ok it is iron block but pretty much a budget cosworth and you get a
free 6 speed box with later versions.
