Calling all pinto owner/drivers
Hi All
I am just about ready for the SVA and I would like to check the speedo. So could you tell me how fast the speedo says you are going in second gear at
2000rpm. Any indication would help as I can fine tune at SVA. I am running a 2lt pinto type9 box and serria diff.
Thanks Carl (SVA Very soon)

I think you'll find there are a few variables.
wheel/tyre diameter
diff ratio
Amount of teeth on output shaft teeth gear/speedo drive.
Cheers

This may help
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

the speedo reads of the gearbox usually, so changing diff and wheels wont affect the reading related to revs, only what the real speed is at any given
revs. If in doubt, put in a 3.9 diff for the test - you are allowed to read too high i believe.
