E markings and lights
Can anyone tell me what is the correct E marking for exterior lighting?
My downloaded "Draft" copy of the SVA states in the heading colmn of Annex 1 to the lighting section that - Approval Markings
"E" or"e" identity or BS mark. The list under this heading has various other identifying marks but there is no explanation
for these (each type of lamp has a different letter).
As a comparrison my VW has E1 on all forward facing lights and the rear ones have E2, there are no other additional letters.

THE NUMBER ONLY tells you in wich country the bulb was given the homologacion...
you don't look at the numbers just make sure you have an e on them..
