Engine age for SVA
I have my SVA at Mitcham monday week and am now a little worried about prooving engine age.
It's a 1994 RRR fireblade and the engine number can clearly be seen and the Hanyes manual states that this engine number is in the range of
numbers for 1994.
My question is whether this will be ok for Mr SVA and if not what's the number for Honda to get a letter prooving age!!
ta,
Rich.

I think you'll be OK with the Haynes manual, as it's documented.
If you need to contact Honda, be prepared for a wait. I registered a CR500 for enduro's and had to apply in writing to get the year of
manufacture.

Rich,
I wasn't asked to prove engine age during my test - mine was a 96 engine anyway but they just used the details I had previously completed on my
form.
I had the Honda manual with me showing the engine number ranges too. Two of my friends had used this this manual in the past with no problems. Also
they should be able to see that the lower blade engine capacity matches the engine number and claim of 94.
Stop worrying! - you will be fine:-) - yours is a high quality build!
Regards, Mark.
