does the end of my silencer need to turn out at 90 deg to the car for SVA??.

but if the end of the pipe is cut at 45 degree's, then the sound meter at 45 deg to the end is looking straight down the pipe (if that makes
sense!)

It doesn't need to turn out at all as long as it is directing away from bodywork, for obvious reasons. It is subject to typical radii
restrictions, this is why MK Engineering 'roll' the end of the tube to gaurantee is SVA-ness. Other's have passed obviously without
this but they must have been protested by can (?) maybe and other obstructions. I think SVA Centres vary on this point...

If you just can weld a 5mm round bar.
anyway i haven´t pointing it out of the car, sow we will see what they say about it , i hope they don´t because the noise should be less with the
wheel arch in between
