Legalising an Hungarian locost
Hi,
legalising in Hungary an locost is almost impossible (misson). I would like to try legalising my locost in the Home of Locosts (England).
I would like to know, what age is written in my locost car document. THe donor's age? Or is it a brand new car???
And if it is the donor age, then it works with a donor from foregin counrty?
It's very important for me, because the tax for a new car is very high. (double like my locost value)
Thank you

Hi, if the car is made mainly from one donor car then you would get an age related plate, BUT, the registration will say the current year, as year of
manufacture 2007 as now. If you cannot prove that all the parts came from one donor, then you would get a "Q" plate, but again the year of
manufacture would be current date, 2007 as now. Hope that helps, Regards Ray
To make a car go faster, just add lightness. Colin Chapman - OR - fit a bigger engine. Chippy

Gosh, if in the car document, or logbook is manufacture date 2007, then the registration tax is 1,4millon forint (3300 pound) (((
Nice state, isn't it ?
