does the top of the perspex screen count as a sharp edge?
and I thought the rear view mirror had to dip? It also looks a tad small for the test
back harness clips, sharp edge?
nope see nothing else, nice job

The best part was hearing the turbo spooling up and the dump valve blowing off.
Fast and Furious eat your heart out :-)
Time to get a pass or fail list to fix I think.
Cross everything for the former.

Elbow the fly screen, it may cause grief.
Also side repaters, Does the fact that you can see the sides of the front indicators count as side repeaters?
Good luck with test.
Steve.

the head lamps have side repeaters built into the side / back of the headlamp unit so it seems to cover all the angles needed

aprat from the screen, 3 things.
1. radius in steering arm
2. sharp edge on tunnel trim (where it changes angle)
3. sharp edge on leading edge of exhasut can (cannot see it close enough to be sure)

I'd be worried about those clip on harnesses.
1. A sharp main triangle will likely need some trim. Not sure how to cover the clip itself.
2. The eye-bolts may need a marking (or a bit of paper from the harness manufacturer) to prove they are high tensile.
If the lights have separate lenses for side repeats they should be ok.
I'd agree with the above and test without the wind deflector, it looks like a square edge on the top which would need a radius or trim.

1. radius in steering arm = have covered with coolant hose
2. sharp edge on tunnel trim (where it changes angle) = have layed a beed of pu
3. sharp edge on leading edge of exhasut can (cannot see it close enough to be sure) = covered all hot and sharp bits on silencer with wrap and nut
covers
seat belt triangles i'll get my mum to make something to cover them
eye bolts have 8.8 stamped on them
aero screen will fall off tonight
i'll take an apple and a paper bag full of £10 notes

One other thing, if you have a laptop with all your build pics on then take it or take some hardcopy pics, the examiner asked to see a pic of the
bottom harness mounts in the chassis, if I hadn't had the picture he would have had to ask me to remove the seat and inner side panel!!

really, I thought that they could only test what they could see without the removing covers etc. What about folk covering their wiring behind a panel
under the dash. It's still a good idea to take photo's as proof and I'm sure there's many in the archives that you can used
for that purpose, oh did I say that!
