No worries with emmissions but with a 19 year old bike engine, you may have other worries.

No Cat, No worries, these engines are virtually bombproof! Just clean out the small channel thro the water heated manifold (it blocks up & gives you a flatspot due to carb icing) & while the lump is out replace the starter chain (sometimes referred to as alternator chain) as they are a weakness, costs about £12 including the gasket,mine are both still going strong at 34000 & 44000 miles respectively & I've given them some serious abuse!

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

No cat, but you will still be subject to an emissions test and a visual smoke test.

CO<= 3.5%
HC<=1200ppm
