Comparable CAR
Hi,
Wich car with EU type aproval would be the most close to a BEC seven.
regarding size,weight and power.
- 500kg
- 100bhp

I don't know any mass produced car as light as 500kg. Even the mark 1 Citroen AX was over 600kg.
You can get a 101 BHP smart but it weighs over 800kg.

There was a special edition of last of the old ForTwos. It had the 101 BHP brabus tuned engine from the Brabus Roadster.
The other way to do it was to get a roadster turbo plus a sports exhaust and fit them to a ForTwo, then get the 101 BHP map for the ECU.

What about a modern Elise? In 1996 it originally had 118bhp, weighed about 675kg and is 3717mm long and 1740mm wide, and it has two seats...
shimming solid lifters is a job for a friend...

Nah, chuck a bike engine in a mini (a real one)
Replace the metal with lightweight f/glass where poss.
