Quick question: Insurance on driveway
I am sorry if this has been asked before, but do I need insurance if my car is on my drive, not on the road?
Swapping cars, and do not want to have two policies running if I do not need to.

You dont need to but some companies do laid up cover. At least then if you get some chavs along where you are, you car will still be insured
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

No legal requirement but if you have the car on cover at the moment some will drop the cover down to "accidental damage, fire and theft"
which gives you no road cover but is ok if as the names suggests is accidentally damaged, stolen or set on fire or you can sometimes just get fire and
theft only. It tends to be very cheap, dependant on what car it is of course.
