SVA form info..
1/ Can someone confirm the cc and power output of a 205 block 2 litre Pinto from an f reg Sierra? I put it in Wikipedia and in the same article i got
three different outputs and engine sizes
2/ If the engine is running bike carbs do i still put eg 105 bhp (78kw)?
3/ Maximum road speed 120mph at 6500 rpm?

Letter I got from Ford for same Engine from 1988 Pinto was
BHP 106 @ 5800rpm

SVA form doesn't ask for Max power! It asks (Q13) for "max power engine speed".
Thats the revs at which max power is made and they use it to work out the revs to test the noise at.

Max road speed is so they can check your tyres are the right speed rating.
T = 118 max
H = 130 max
V = 149 max
W = 168 max
As long as your Max speed is less than that of the tyres then your OK. There's a correction for the % of the tyres max load that the car is (V
tyre at 98% load = 134 etc) but you'll be well below that.
