SVA pass at Beverley

Hi had my SVA at at Beverley this morning and passed for the first time he was so impressed that he even let me go with a couple of advisories to do, what a nice guy now got my DVLA appointment next Thurs so will be driving car on the road for the first time hehe can wait.

thank you to everyone who helped with the advise i got from here it has helped all the way though the build

Well done. So what were they keen on? Did they give you any tinker time? We have got our test at beverly this thursday too

thanks, they were keen on sharp edges on spare wheel (if you have one lol) wiper sweep and brake pipe security (only the one small pipe), and make sure all your nuts and bolts are tight as i didnt which was very dopey, after putting 25miles on the clock at a local airfield, also my fog light wasnt vertical, my testers name was P Watson, sorry dont know his first name but he was a great guy lots of experience and very helpful let me tighten the loose bolts and anything else needed, took 1.5 hours instead of the 4 hours they put aside. He didnt even check the front end sharp edges as they looked right, (lots of foam and electric insulation tape)

make sure your car is nice and clean and tidy, it will improve your chances like mine did.
if it looks well put together it often is and they like it, tinker time was when he found something wrong he let me sort there and then
