LIGHTS
CAN SOMEONE CONFIRM THE SVA RULING REF SIDE LIGHTS.I AM SURE I READ SOMEWHERE THAT THE SIDELIGHTS FOR LEFT HAND SIDE AND RIGHT HAND SIDE HAD TO BE
FUSED SEPERATLEY:ALSO ARE THERE ANY OTHER RULES REF FUSES?

Hi
If I recall correctly, I have 1 fuse for my main bean, and another for dipped beam. Sidelights I cannot remember if there is a separate one there or
it is off something else... BUT I know there is NOT a separate fuse for either side as you are asking.

Can't find anything under either lighting or general construction/electrical in the SVA manual.

Dont think the tester even looked at my fuses, and as it happens one of the front side lights was blown and he didn't bother, just said oh well
you'll get a new bulb in there

For what it's worth - I think the Premier Wiring loom fuses nearside and offside sidelights separately.
I can see advantage - if a bulb goes and takes fuse with it you don't lose both rear lights at night.

Agreed, I think my Escort based loom is like that but I doubt it's an SVA issue. jusst good practice

Ditto the convention for trailers
to have left and right sidelights separatly wired (and fuses, car allowing).
