The wing mirror indicators, are they your front indicators or side repeaters? They should be fine as front indicators but would fail as side
repeaters.

Yeah they would,I presumed they were side repeaters as the MK nose cone has cut outs for front indicators.
No side repeaters on either of the arches, unless they are yet to cut the holes and fit

Will fail rearwards visibility looking as side repeaters, unless I am missing something?
Yeah deffo fail if side repeaters, need to be able to view them from the rear from 5degrees to 60 degrees from the side of car.
only places you can fit them now to pass iva is on edge of rear arch or on front cycle wing.
Will be interesting to see if it passes IVA at the first go.
Two things for sure should fail, fog light is not vertical, and as previously discussed the side repeaters are not visible in the angles required.
Not sure the front indicators will pass either, when you look at your pic on a angle drivers side front the front indicator is not visible.
MK have shaped parts in the moulding for them, why have they not fitted them there?

Celebration time and thanks to SKC it passed first time.
Now to take the IVA bits off and add the finishing touches.
[Edited on 3/3/15 by hkp57]
nice one.
For people that have to iva there own cars can you confirm it was tested as per the pictures you last put up?
Cause if it was its a wee take tbh and skc must get preferential treatment at there local test centre
I am only going by what I am told due to still being at work in Angola, SKC said it was fine and I trust them. Said the pictures do not reflect it to
clearly but the lenses on the repeaters wrap around far enough and the lenses on the fog light were profiled to allow for the slope of the back
panel.
He wasn't sure how it would go either due to it being a new tester at the station, being a VOSA station and risking there credibility I would
very much doubt they would risk that for a kit car.

it's a great result for you
but the examiner obviously is either newly qualified and not the best,or a slack arse!!
Not a sniff those side repeaters are passable, not trying to be funny but its a wee take when you see some of the petty things people's cars
get failed on!!!

What did it weigh in at just curious ?
How come you are using a large car battery ?
Thanks nick
I am using the big battery for two reasons, first being the electric reverse. Second reason is being a biker I have a nice heated jacket to wear and
with the passenger maybe also wearing one I wanted a bit of an energy buffer. The 2 12v sockets on the transmission tunnel is for powering those.

What Iva bits are there to take off only the steering wheel. Would like to see a picture of exhaust cover
Only things they are doing is the steering wheel, move the front indicators to the nose cone, fit a pair of canard fins to the nose cone ans fit my
GPS mount to the dash.
As far as I know there was no cover on the exhaust.

Ah I see, each to there own , the reverse does suck a lot of power especially like me if you were reversing up a drive. The car battery will add a
lot of weight tho.
I went for a reverse box this time as I had a few problems with the electric reverse .
