V627/1 querie

On the V627/1 form it askes how you disposed of the original parts not used. What have you lot put? I bought my parts from MK and Mac#1 so did not have any other parts of the car to dispose of.

Cheers

Andy

Are you using the V627/1 form along with the V55/4 form for regisration purposes.I,ve got to reggie mine, gonna do it end of march time because "they" want tax up front as well.No piont in taxing it around here at the moment. It'll end up covered in cow shitte and salt.I just need to make sure I fill in all the relevent forms before tracking down to Leeds VRO.

If you are going for an age related plate then you will need to tell them that the car was desposed off via the normal scrap yard etc, as I'm sure IT was (single donor car). If you are not going for an age related plate tell them that you bought the parts from a supplier who sourced them from a stock of donor cars. Sure they catch loads of people saying " I left it sitting by the road for the local council to take away" and fine them...not. Crafty old lot the DVLA.

Form filling don't you just love it!

You could as long as you have proof of ownership, V5. I was asked for mine and then when I got the new reg they took it off me. Have you done the "build up" form which asks you where you got the parts from, as you will need to put your donor reg on that. I have heard some people approach their local scrap yard owner for a V5 if they don't have one..not that I am suggesting that is right or wrong.
