SVA emmisions

Hi all,
Just failed sva on emmisions and noise level.
I've got a ZX9R C1 indy, with pipercross air filter, r1 carbon end can and catalytic converter. Everything else is standard.
CO fine but HC and lambda high. Also noise level 104dbs.
Otherwise the test went very well.
Your advise would be appreciated.
Cheers
Al

Stuff a rag up your pipe and feel for any leaks in your joins at the cat. I suspect the Lambda reading is false ie. drawing air in through a small hole in the exhaust as high Lambda would suggest lean running.
If that is the problem then you can adjust the mixture screws to bring the HC down.

Thanks,
I'll probably adjust the mixture screws first to see if that works.
