FIA to the help... ...again!!!
Lets change the drivers system of points scoring (maybe because FIA don't like this years winner !!!)...
...and leave the constructors championship as it is (because the FIA like the colour red???)
Complete non-sense!!!

If he wants to make winning more valuable, make 1st worth twice as much as 2nd

What a lot of guff. All the tosh about it being bad for the championship winner to only have to finish in low order in the final race is inherent in
any accumulated success measurement system.
Can't recall them whining when Schumacher was winning the championship before the season had even ended.
In fact the new system makes it even worse as the championship can be decided halfway through the season at which point the races become utterly
meaningless for the drivers - who's going to risk anything if they can't win and can't lose.

Actually one of the reasons they changed the points system was because schumacher won the championship too early.
Have to say this Medals ideas is stupid though, they should go back to the old scoring scheme, or maybe give more points for the win (say 12 instead
of 10) and possibly a point for pole and fastest lap too.
Cheers

i've said that a number of times as it gives people something to race for - imagine you're on the last 1/4 of the race and you realise you
can get a point for your team by pushing it. You'll get back runners with something to race for............
except with them removing fuel / pit stops they can't really do this any more

Give em Formula Fords
If Bernie really wants a good race, he should make a drastic reduction in the aerodynamics, such as remove the wings.
Then the best drivers would really shine, as is the case in formula Ford racing.
