Just telll DVLA you have changed your engine.
No engine number, no proof of source, =possible snatchback!

The only issue you might have, is getting verification of the reduction in CC. DVLA are paranoid and usually think it's some sort of scam to get
cheaper VED.

dvla don't like it when your cars going into a lower tax bracket! made it very difficult for me pictures of the conversion and receipt for the
engine wasn't good enough, i even offered to bring the car to my local office but no that wasn't good enough either.
Ended up with a local bike dealer inspecting it then charging me £25 for the privilege of writing a letter stating cc ect

Beware of anything without a engine number
no salvage dealer or insurance company remove engine numbers so if its not got one usually its not yours or theirs
i know of many people who have had engines taken back by the police and lost the right to them and there cash
beware

thanks for the replies , my biggest concern was may of been a major enough mod to warrant them doing sva or iva and obviously being buit in 1989 it
wont pass that, that was my fear also with engine number so will give anything like that a wide berth, out of curiousity what can you a zx9r package
for malc?

I had enough trouble with the Gummit, but what *finally* freed the wheels of the Kremlin was the production of the V5 from the crashed bike that the
engine came out of.....
Might help to think of that, might not, your mileage will vary.
You'll enjoy the BEC though.
