I've sent my SVA application away!!
There, at last!! it's only taken 7 years and 8 months to do. I did say i'd be driving it in a year when i ordered the kit back in 2001.
I filled in the form and attached a set of photo's and a cheque.
only thing now is to actaully finish the car!!
I asked for a date after april 15th, so hopefully get something round there, cos right now the engine don't run due to having no carbs on site.
no lights are wired up, bonnet still needs fitting. lots of SVA freindly trim needs doing. mirrors, seat fixings, wiring the dash fully. etc etc.
my amin worry is its taken so long to get this far, i need a miracle now to get it fully finished for SVA, mainly due to me being bone-idle, and
having no confidence at all in my abilities.
perhaps i should organise a weekender with free food and cups of tea/coffee/beer, to encourage some lovely folks to help. I already have one helper, i
just need a good kick up the arse!
