Fuel Pump Cutoff

With an electric fuel pump do I need to fit a saftey system like an inertia cutoff switch or a " Pump Kill " switch?

OK but,

Anyone who's been through the SVA recently does our friendly SVA inspector acutally want to see an inertia cutoff fitted.

I will be wiring my fuel pump through the imobiliser for security anyhow (Relays etc).
