The MAC is sufficient for you to ring up your local DVLA office and ask how you go about registering and taxing it. Most will want to inspect it at
their depot but you aren't allowed to drive it there, some will arrange a home inspection.
What they are really doing is checking to make sure you haven't built it from stolen parts so donor log-book will be a good idea, although I
think some have used receipts where not much of the donor was used.

Proof of scrapping/scrapped doner is useful part of getting an "age related"plate
If your happy with a Q then not necessary

Use the DVLA automated phone line and order V55/5 registration pack. Fill in the forms and take to the nearest DVLA office. Thats how I did it
anyway.

When i registered mine, i was told that the donor cars logbook serves as a reciept for the donor so that age related plate can be awarded. Ask them if
your reciept will suffice. Did you keep the VIN tags off it before disposing?
I assume you dont have donor logbook as it just wasnt handed over to you and you needed to apply for it. ie not because the donor was declared as
scrap.
i dont think DVLA like to issue Q's so get friendly with them and seek their advice. Fingers crossed it wont take too long.
