DVLA Carlisle
Handed my documentation into Carlisle DVLA on the 6th, the day of the SVA pass. Not heard from them so contacted Swansea DVLA. Tghier message says if
you havnt heard back about an application within 10 days, ask. They got Carlisle to ring back. They say that the process takes time, the bloke isnt in
today and couldnt give me any indication of when I would hear from the. When I tried to press her and said" Could it be weeks" she said
"Yes". Surely the process should not take this time even accepting that different offices take different times? I wonder if it is because
I wrote them a snotty letter when they continually sent me letters asking for a completion date and they even isued me with a registration number
about 18 months ago without a MAC. Getting frustrated now. Want to get out on the road.

Well mine and Donuts and Fozzie were done in about 30minutes whilst we waited.
So no, no reason it should take that long!
Good Luck!
Cheers,
James

Had the dvla inspection this morning - said it would be about a week to registration- but that the requirement was within 6 weeks
With my first build I did the sva, called in at the Swansea dvla and registered it all on the same day.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
