Interesting leccy prob
O.K I have been having a problem with my Koso dash ever since fitting it in the winter.Know I am using the car more frequently I have spotted a
pattern. This is going to sound weird ,but its a fact. The Tacho reads great for a mile or so then goes haywire for a few miles then stops completely
BUT not in the mornings when I drive to work ONLY coming home in the evenings and sunday afternoons.
Confused
If you always do what you have always done you will always get what you have always got

It's not uncommon.
I'm usually much more effective in the mornings.
Likewise, I'll spend most evenings and Sunday afternoons relaxing on the sofa.
I guess your dash is just a lazy bu@@er like me

Is the sensor earthing on the bracket ? Mine does on the vapor unit. Make the hole for the sensor larger and wrap the sensor in tape.

bad connection - during the morning the car is cold. In the afternoon / evening the day is a lot warmer so things heat up and expand.

nothing to do with the question you asked, I know, but I am very impressed with your metalworking - especially your grille - any more pics?
