Clutch Slip (R1 2003)

Just been out for my first proper run in the car, it was a bit damp so was taking it a bit easy!

But when ever I give the car some beans the car rev's its nuts off, it starts to pick up but then the rev's just shoot up.

Is it possible that the clucth needs adjusting or does it sound terminal

If you have some adjustment, try backing it off........it could be that you are not allowing the clutch lever to return fully after you have lifted your foot off.

If backing it off does not work, before you bin the clutch, try the spring mod.
I think on the 03 it you double up on the front spring plate?
I know on my 05 it is barnett springs.
