How much longer?
Got letter from dvla today. Got inspection on the 3rd of next month at brum. Another trailer hire and half day off work, How much more red tape
befores shes on the road? carnt be anymore is there??

They came to me to inspect my car - don't they do home visits any more? might be worth asking.

there isn't going to be much point you taxing her is there, by the time its on the road it'll be winter!

you must be joking alex.....its took 4 years to get to this point, ide pay the 90 quid just for one drive of it

I took my car today to be inspected by Preston DVLA. Since I don't have a VIN which is issued by them, they will assign me one by post. I then
have to get that letter which has my VIN on signed by a local garage to say that I have indeed put the new VIN on.
I take that letter back to Preston DVLA where they give me the registration mark, and a tax disc. I am hoping so much that I will get those before the
end of the week...

mmh...i see potential trouble for me then. I made up my own vin number, true to form, suppose i will be told my number is no good on inspection day
