good day, bad day

First try at a 0-60 time today after a couple of months getting use to te car. Was very chuffed with the time.

0-60 smaller
0-60 smaller

Followed 10 minutes later with the clutch pedal hitting the bulkhead :-( and the clutch cable in 2 pieces.

Limped home in 2nd gear and stalling at every junction. Luckily was only a cople of miles from home.

Nice!

Is that option available on the standard digidash, or do you need the GPS?

Also, how accurate do you find the temp sensor? I only ask as I am going to take out my acewell and fit one of these next month and the temp sensor is miles out on my acewell!

The 0-60 time is on the standard digidash as well as the GPS version.

As far as I can work out the temp sensor is pretty accurate.

Cheers

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Thats not good about the cable Mark, Guess you won't be out for a blast today ? A little quicker than my car, I think i won't be following to close when we do go out for a blast.

its possible...but it would have had to be one hell of a run, one of those onlin calculators puts minimum 0-60 time of 3.8 seconds for a car with 170bhp (which is what the 1.8t audi engine kicks out as standard) in a 500kg car

The car is putting out about 270-ish BHP (Audi TT 225bhp engine with a phase 1 tune) and is weighing in at a portly 720Kg, The Vientos are not very light.

Neil we will have to put the blast around Aberdeen off until next week end :-(

Cheers

Mark
