Engine change
I know this was covered a while back but i cant find the thread.
I have changed the engine in the locost from the donors 2.9 to a 3.6. Do i need to change the engine on the donors V5 before IVA if i want an age
related plate?
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

You *might* get away with it as you are i (in theory) increasing the size of the engine. I think they get a bit suspicious if you are reducing the
engine size.
Also, even if they are getting a bit wiser, then a Jag is not really a usual donor for a kit car

Worth a shot - they didn't blink an eyelid when I upped the engine capacity and changed the engine number in my Fury.
