Blowing old boots here. No chance of flying my kite, replacing my TV aerial on the roof, of cleaning the gutters now....

31mph winds with gusts up to 37mph this morning apparently, add a mph to those for this afternoon.
Not a cloud in the sky so a nice autumn day.

Typical work all week in some fine weather only to have the fecking weekend spoiled by an icelantic low dragging in 47mph winds.
Still have a 3 story roof climb to do but in winds like these its a no go.
Joel good luck with the sailing btw
Should try north sea in an easterly gale....not much fun.
Have used RNLIs services as the motor broke down twenty times.
They then towed us into tne harbour where we ran aground the lifeboat had its belly in the mud as well. All off to the pub and warmup till the tide
turned and the water came back to fill the harbour......

Which kites do you have in your quiver Neil? I think you would need something quite modest today...!

It's been raining here for the last couple of days and today was forecast to be dry, so I planned on getting to the rooftop aerial today, but
now it's too windy.

I have a range starting 1.2m up to 15m, fixed bridle, arc and inflatable for on the water. Tend to stick to freestyle buggying, heres a pic of me in
20mph winds a few weeks back:

We tried, we were under the forth rail bridge at south queensferry, the old pops wanting to test a catamaran. Far too windy to take it out though, was
force 7 apparently!
