Don't panic is the first bit of advice!! All is not lost.

What paperwork are you referring to? The receipt for the kit?

I had the same problem, but told them I had stripped it down and started again, they then classed it as a new build, problem solved.

Regards

The only paper work I have is a letter from honda telling me the year of the blackbird engine. I have noreceipt for the kit and no idea how old it is?
P.s thank for the quick replies. sounds like I may not be as deep in it as I first thought?

As Graeme said ^ I may or may not have done the same for a few items and if you get stuck in the future then I think you may or may not find that WHSmith sell some good receipt books

If you or a friend had built the chassis from new steel all you would have is an invoice for some steel & perhaps powdercoating ..........................

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1
