LUKE Harnesses......which type?
Right then......about to order some harnesses......LUKE 4 point Black (the shorter ones specifically for 7 type cars - WGM4) - good deal from
www.motorsportworld.co.uk - £49/pr.
For the rear straps is there any requirement for bolt in type or clip type for IVA?
Thanks,
Matt

avoneer's got luke harnesses in his track mx5.
the adjusters are a real PITA to use because the webbing's so coarse.
i'd say you're better off looking at sabelt, though at £49/pair, it just depends if you want to put up with the hassle.

couldn't see mention of them being £49 a pair! they're 49 each as far as i can tell.
if prices are a pair, i'll be buying some of their 75mm strap 4 point harnesses right away!
i don't think theres any requirement on bolt or clip in types. there is a list of appoved markings on the iva manual, as long as your harness
has one of those (e marking is one of many) then they should be fine

back to the real question
as i said, check the markings, and make sure whichever ones you go for have at least one of the required markings from IVA.
also, if you get clip in ones (i plan to on my car) then the clip mechanism has a tiny hole where you put a split pin through to lock it shut. make
sure you do this for IVA
