Max road speed
O.K.-no laughing especially you guys with becs.need to know what to put on sva applic re max road speed for 1.8 pinto??
Also do i send cheque with applic. to swansea and if so for how much??thanks mike.

Hi Mike,
I think the road speed is mainly for the tyres, I stuck down 120mph, just guessing.
Send a cheque for £150 payable to VOSA

We used 100mph. They only tested my speedo up to 80mph though but the tyre rating would be the one to watch.

Try to make it less than 112mph or your T rate tyres will fail SVA.
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

104 is a good guess ---- top speed of 1600Gt xflo powered Lotus S3
But of course Lotus were widely known for tweaking the engines of road test cars so the power should be about the same as you 1800.
