Can anyone recommend an IVA safe nosecone grill?
I've currently got a standard Caterham grill which looks and fits great......but I've just realised it would fail radius test. I also
have a load of that grill mesh that I used to do the bonnet vent that I was thinking of using but I don't think that is radius proof either
(it's ok in bonnet vent as ball can't get to it.
Any suggestions of something that will do the trick - permanent or otherwise

Wiring conduit ziptied to the grille was/is what MAC1 did to mine...

Was that for SVA or IVA? I'm surprised they didn't say that was not permanent enough, I do have some small conduit though so if I can do
that it will save loads of messing about!!
In fact I bet if I taped it all I could get it quite neat anyway. Thanks

Didn't need to worry for SVA (unless you used cheese wire) as ventilation grills had their own more relaxed rules for radiuses.
Just checked the IVA manual and that hasn't changed.
See section 16 Exterior Projections
Required standards 5, 6, 7 and 8
I'd be amazed if the caterham grill didn't pass.

mine is still quite a way off IVA, but as it happens, I've just done the grille - I don't see any IVA issues with it.....
only cost me a couple of pounds for the silicone as I found the s/steel rods!

Mine cost nothing.
Mine is basicaly Supermarket shopping trolley that the local kids were running up and down the street - put it in the garage so it was not rammed into
the car, then found the mess whas the right size squares and correct diameter rods.
