back to UK
Hello,
i am in Belgium.
I have an XTR2 that was SVA and registered in UK, thenn permanently exported to Belgium.
Now, it really seems that i won't be allow to register the car in Belgium.
So, i may have the car registered in UK by a friend and keep it in Belgium for my use.
What would i have to do import the car back in UK and register it again.?

Not sure about importing into the UK, but I think within the EU, you're only allowed to keep and drive a foreign registered car on foreign
plates for a maximum of 6 months, before having to register it where you live - not sure about car tax in Belgium, but over here it's seen as
tax avoidance if you're driving a car on foreign plates for more than 6 months. It obviously depends on getting stopped, but I'd imagine
if you can't register an xtr2 over there, you're quite likely to get stopped in it as well....
cheers
