DVLA Tomorrow
Hi,
I am planning a visit to the DVLA in Northampton tomorrow to get the car registered.
Any last minute hints and tips to try and make this as painless as possible.
Cheers
Frank

As long as you have your receipts, and nothing is dodgy, you will be fine. In the nicest possible way, my inspector had no idea about cars or car
parts - he was merely a box ticker! I could have told him it was a Ferrari and he would have let it go...

Took my car to Northampton DVLA, a girl about 26 came out to check the engine No,Chassis No etc but what she really wanted was for me to start it up
so the guys in the office who were lined up at the window could hear it run ( Chevy V8 ). All went off a treat & picked up my reg'n two days
later.
All the best for tomorrow.
Brian.

You'll be fine, just remember to breath, be polite and as helpfull as possible. The girl who does the inspections is OK. the biggest problem is
parking (traffic vultures, sorry I mean wardens are just looking for trade) and they do not like you driving it there so that means trailer and the
only have single parking which is usually full so get there with plenty of time to spare.
Beware of the Goldfish in the tulip mines. The ONLY defence against them is smoking peanut butter sandwiches.
