Wing mirrors - will these pass?

Hi Guys,

quick opinion needed, will these mirrors pass SVA? Is there a radius requirement for the rear edges of the mirror housing?

Has anyone used these mirrors and passed?

See wing mirrors here

No - it's what I have, the mirror carbon edges are too sharp. Ask JoelP to buy the ones I'm selling him once he's past!

I bought mine direct from SPA design though, not from Tweeks - may be cheaper, and also got them to send me longer extension arms so I can see over my back wings. Also got the rear-view mirror from them too, and got the long stalk for that as well.

You can see it the photo opposite the original stalks are too short.

solution no.2

buy
1. http://www.gtscougar.freeserve.co.uk/
look for his carbon mirrors
then
2. buy this very thin rubber - also useful for front arches, looks great. http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/rubbers.html trim no. r100 and glue it on!

I bought mirrors from this company, looks like above mentioned mirrors.
at 18 € for a pair !!
No carbon look, and not SVA, but very good price ( +/-12 £ tax included )

Guys, Thanks for the input.

JoelP - I'm a while off SVA but have been offered some of the SPA mirrors for a reasonable, but not giveaway, price.

I'll leave it for now and investigate further nearer the time.

Again, Thanks to all who replied.
