DVLA and VIN
Rang the DVLA last week to request a VIN number and a pack of all the reg forms. Got the form pack today, but no VIN - does it come seperatly, or do
you think have they forgotten/mis-heard?

I sent them my made up VIN and it came back saying it was OK along with all the docs.
May be worth ringing them with one..

Made mine up (instructions on here somewere). Apparently this will not all-ways work, depends on your local DVLA office.. If you do this write them a
letter to ask if this is o.k. (could take a while!!) before stamping it on..

Thanks for the replies. I sent a letter to my local office a few months ago, but they never replied back. I'll give Swansea another ring. If
it's an issue them supplying me a number, I'll quote them one I made up and see if it's all right.
