Fuel pipe and wiring routing
Hi
Come to the stage of fitting the fuel pipe and wiring loom. Just wondered what the rules were on routing and clipping them.
I know they can not run together but are they allowed to cross at some point??
How strict are they during the IVA?
The bit i want to get right is the area around the throttle bodies. I want to run the vehicle loom under them on the chassis rail but need to route
the fuel pipe from the rail toward the tunnel. At some point they are going to meet and cross.
If they are secure and will not rub agains each other is that acceptable?
I have braded hose and the loom will be projected.
Any suggestion and pictures are welcome.
Thanks in advance
Stuart

I can't find any rules that say they can't run together.
I ran mine together or at least next to each other but P clipped separately.

bare in mind that your fuel and electrics HAVE to meet somewhere, ie fuel pump for example, and your chassis forms part of the electric system,
there's no problem.
i suggest putting them opposite sides of the tunnel right enough, but there are going to be times when they have to cross

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!
