age related plate without donor engine?
My donor engine expired this month, I've got another in now.
However will I still get a age related plate as i've got a donor v5 and used the steering/box/diff/electrics/ecu/brakes/uprights etc.
Just not the engine!
Would it be worth updating the donor V5 with the new engine number?

I would have said so, yes.
Depending on your DVLA office, they may want photo proof/engineers report apparently.
Cheers,

I did my pinto expire so I put in a zetec for the SVA. Along as you have a reciept, the Engine number, and the Power figures for the engine. You
should be ok.
Mind you that was the SVA and not the new IVA. But the age related should be a dvla thing
