Covering track rods
Whats the IVA acceptable way of covering the steering rack extensions and drag link nuts? And where do I get them from? cheers.

For SVA in Nottingham, Split a 3/4" heater hose of appropriate length along its length and cable tie it on. This was done AT SVA because the
pipe lagging that was fitted was deemed "Liable to Go Soggy and Fall off After SVA".
Beware of the Goldfish in the tulip mines. The ONLY defence against them is smoking peanut butter sandwiches.

cbsonline do a heat shrink version. my only worry with those is it going to be a pain to get off when i want to do some post iva setting up.

Try your local electrical wholesalers for a conduit sleeve, cut the small end to fit the track rod, fit , get the tracking set up and then fill with
silicon to hold it's shape. Neat and locost

Cheers guys, I'll have a look at those options. Ideally I'd want one that's removable so its can go through IVA, then go off for a
suspension set up, without having to cut bits off the car.
