IVA Pass
At last!
Needed a new caliper as the handbrake part was defective on my other one. Trim bits done and a button for low brake fluid level installed. Retest
was over in less than an hour.
The whole IVA experience wasn't too bad at all really. The testers at Nottingham really are on your side.
Car inspection tomorrow so i'll get my number plates then too.
Thanks to Dave for lending me some bits and to the LCB forum members for answering my questions

Although a few have been lucky and walked out with it the same day, it often takes a while to get the paperwork for the 'plates through.

These are as I got back, wearing her IVA face and additions. Not too much to change... side mirrors/indicators and remove trim
Oh the car is still loaded with tools incase I broke down or could fix any IVA issues there. 200 trouble free miles so far and 30+MPG!!!

That's a very nicely finished car. I like the colour scheme. Well done!
What are the four black buttons on the edge of the dash to the right of the steering wheel?
Why do they call Port Harcourt "The Garden City"?...... Becauase they can't spell Stramash.

Cheers.
They're nut covers covering the dash control/config buttons.
The dash always displays speed however on some of the screens(predictive lap time/lap history IIRC) the MPH isn't shown so its a IVA fail in my
testers opinion. Easily sorted though. I even had to remove the power isolation switch for the dash so that's why there's a hole on the
toggle row.

Congrats - had mine done at Nottingham too and mirror your comments - they really are good working with you, instead of it being a parc furme type of
test.
Took 8 days from going to my local DLVA office to getting the reg and tax disk back through the post (its apparently a back office task now, which was
the story i got told). DLVA shouldn't need / want to see the car again though due to the recent change (see link below)

Looks great though - love the colour and dash

The dash is great! I'm not a fan of digital RPM displays as they're hard to read from a glance, this sits perfectly in my line of
vision. Great quality too. I like the way the layout hasn't changed for years either, just the options/software etc.
