Help needed for 2003 R1 emissions
Hi, ive got my iva test in 2 1/2 weeks and ive just checked my emissions at a local mot test centre and the fast idle test fails. I have got a power
commander fitted and a map that someone on here passed an SVA test with, it is ok on idle but the engine runs very uneven between 2500 - 3000 which in
turn makes the emissions very unsteady.
Ive adjusted afew of the values in the map but cant seem to get both the CO and Lambda in the limits at the same time.
Has anyone got a map they have passed IVA with that they could e-mail me ? or any advise ?
Many thanks in advance.

Just be aware that a map that works for one engine/exhaust/CAT/airbox setup won't necessarily work corrcetly for another & even things like
atmospheric pressure & humidity can have an effect when you don't have a full closed loop system. They will usually let you play with
settings at the test centre as long as you're not running out of time, but be aware that bike engines can overheat very easily when being held
at 2500/3000 rpm for the fast idle test & test centres have no additional fans etc. If the engine has a fast idle screw adjustment that is by far
the best way to get the map to work correctly as maintaining a steady throttle with a bike engine via the accelerator pedal is pretty much impossible!
I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator
headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names
furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours.

I had a easy emmisions test as at the sva he let me rev the engine to 6k. But i had my emmisions set up at a local bike dyno place had aload of - 12s
and -15s in the map in 0 and5% throttle and up to 6k rpm
eerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
