SVA fail today, but not as bad as it sounds
Hi all,
After very little sleep all this week (~4 hours last night) me and the missus were trying to get the car finished, we took it to Beverly today.
First things first, the tester was a top bloke, very fair but used common sense, and really tried to get the car through.
Anyway, failed on emissions only, which is a bit disapointing as I took the car to get the carbs set up for emissions last Saturday, will ring the guy
tommorrow to see what he says. But the best bit is everything else passed first time! I'm well happy! Just got back from a mini
celebration drink in the pub!
We're not far away now, get the carbs sorted, and a 10 minute re-test and thats it!
Thanks to everyone who has offered advice and solutions. And to everyone who is still building, keep going, it is well worth it!
Cheers

No comments on the ferruled brake flexies then?

None what-so-ever Mark!
But I think Beverly might be a long treck for you!
Are you nearly ready? We were running in tandem at one point?
Thanks for all the kind words guys.
And to everyone who hasn't been through it yet, SVA is NOT as scarey as you think, but thats easy for me to say, been there, done that!

Getting bogged down with wiring at the moment, and still have to paint! I was hoping for september when it seemed a long time to go, but its only 4
weeks away - no chance!
Premature congratulations though
