Headlamp Wiring
Do you recon this setup will pass?

is the lower edge of the carbon effect thingy out of reach of the 110mm ball? or have you not got to this bit yet?!
ps wiring looks fine...

I'm going to put some small titanfast in the CF holder, and find some sort of grommet for the headlamp large washer - its the wiring that I was
a little worried about, the connical grommet will get a tiny cable tie to secure it

Only the edge of the carbon effect cowling, are the indicators in the right place, dimension wise? otherwise looks good.

The indicators have about 5mm spare for the 400mm rule (measured from the rear arches!)

Exeter show, £25 the pair complete with the lamps.

They measure from outside edge of vehicle to illuminated area. Therefore, just inside the lens will be about right...

Mark they're Landy lights same as I've used on the back.
Don't forget to fill the screw hole bit with bluetack and colour it in black. Instant SVA fiendly lights.

I would be very concerned about the viewing angles for the indicators for SVA. When you put the nosecone and bonnet on I doubt you'll achieve
the 45 degree side envelope required... I used pretty much exactly the same setup but made up high brackets to elevate the lamp assembly above the
bonnet line. After the test the front lights were significantly lowered to nestle between the body and wings.

Playskool motorsport sell the carbon effect front indicator housings. About £18 when I bought mine.

Northy, I am going to use clear stone chip vinyl, cut into little circles to stick over the screw holes, I have never heard of anyone else doing this,
but I cannot see they would have any objection.
Stuart, tell me more about the viewing angle stuff, I noticed that from your avatar that your lamps are set well back, mine are level with the front
bracket for the upper wishbone, and the indicators are set 4" forward of that, I knew about the 90° viewing angle from the same side, but not
about the 45° angle, presumably from the opposite side to the indicator.

I measured again, just to make sure. The total width of my car is 64", the total distance between the outer edge of the indicators is 33
1/2", leaving 30 1/2" total outboard which is 15 1/4"per side or 387mm which would look OK by 13mm or 1/2"

Tried to look for a better picture of your setup but none in your archive.
What I was meaning was that from the other side of the car you need to see indicator at a 45 degree angle. This is at an angle of max 25 degrees
upwards i.e. not very much if your estimating by eye.
Hope my crap explanation has helped.
