speedo readings at sva

Please can someone just confirm what manual states about speedo check -is there a 10% for reading faster than actual -I believe my 195/50/15s will do this for me so if setting up speedo I would have to be spot on.

examples

real - speedo

40 30

50 39

70 57

these are max deviations

BTW those figures are the wrong way round Steve... If your doing actually doing 30 then the speedo should be saying 36 etc.

I was sure it was 10% + 3mph.

Cheers

The 10% + 3mph is what speed you can do before the police can prosecute.

quite right! wrong way around.

those figures seem, on a glance, to be random percentages from the base figure - unless its some kinda 'error + 2mph' thing again....

isnt speeding 10% + 2 (not 3??)

From the draft latest manual, I doubt the issued version is different.
