Brake lines and loom together

Hi,

I am using rivet on cable tie bases and wondering if it is ok to secure brake lines and the loom in the same base/tie. I am assuming its ok as long as they are secure and cannot rub against anything?

The fuel lines are seperate with rubber lined p-clips.

Thanks,
James

Not sure if it would be a specific IVA fail, but I wouldn't do it myself. Far rather use rivet on plastic P clips (Maplin, RS etc) or plastic push-in C shaped pipe clips (Vehicle Wiring Products) for the brake pipes.

Never clip anything to a brake or fuel pipe, and always ensure nothing rubs against or touches a brake pipe.

These are the most suitable type easy and quick to use should be able to get them from any motor factors.
