Nut covers

Today I've been using my Tifosi-supplied nut covers on all the nuts and bolts on my front suspension. Unfortunately, the '100 assorted covers' only gave me a few of the sizes I really need, leaving me with around 80 I'll probably never use.

So, can anyone suggest a place where I can get covers in the sizes I need, rather than buying a mixed pack?

In particular, I'm looking for larger sizes to cover bigger nuts and bolts, particularly those that hold the lower ball joint on, and to wrap around the upper ball joint locking nut.

Any help gratefully accepted - and the sooner the better, as my SVA approaches!

rgds,

David

I got M14 and M18 (thread sizes) from Westfield.

Cheers,

Colin

I think I got a bag of 19mm covers from MAC#1 motorsport. This sorted out the majority of my front suspension. For bigger stuff I improvised with hose pipe and sikaflex!
Good Luck

Look at ebay item no. 7919156186.
50 nut covers - 20 x M17, 20 x m 19 and 10 x m13.
once there, look at sellers other items for other combinations.
Seemed a reasonable price to me.

Cheers,
Andy.

All this ebaying and racing.coms is too much like hard work, just get to a fastening supplier like FWB, I bought 50 M8, 50 M10, and 25 M12, cost me about a fiver

If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

That's Ok if you have a branch of FWB locally! I'm here in the engineering wilderness that is Ipswich and its surrounding area - the only fastening sales place I knew of has long gone, and I'm too lazy to search around (here's when Timf gives me a dozen Ipswich addresses... ).

I've order a few packs at extortionate prices from Europa, who assure that they went in the post yesterday...

The reason for the panic? I'm off to the Chelmsford SVA test centre next Friday the 10th! Eeek! I'm having an MOT this Sat at a friendly garage, so that I can be sure that the car is fit for a 40 mile each-way run.

rgds,

David
