anyone got through with twin 40's on a pinto?
as title.
maybe a daft question as i know quite a few use them but is there any problems getting through the sva using webber twin 40's ?
i was going to use my standard carb to get through the test and then change to the 40's after test but then realised this is going to mean
getting a new bonnet due to all the holes!
if ppl haven't had too many probs with emissions when using them then i might just go with it.
cheers
john

Macspeedy got through no bother and his car hadnt been tuned properly. The regs are a lot lighter due to age of engine. We got a 98dB with a mk
exhaust. If you lean out the mixture and run the engine warm enough no trouble.
Give him a U"U if you need more details
