thats it.....after 3 years ive got a date for the big test. me and Mr G are flat out doing all the fidaly jobs. next thurs 11th, 8 am. cant

Billy if you need an extra pair of eyes to look over your car before sva u2u me and i will pop over one evening(been through Exeter and the blokes ok
but efficent)
Mark when your test comes up theres a stop off at okehampton if you want (25 miles from test site ,night before if you want?)

thanx barrie for the offer, ive now realised she will fail, ill just look forward to having a list to work from. having looked at the car closely im
gonna be pushed for time with only a week to go (rolling road today and speedo is abit far out .........water leaks, and dodgy throttle linkage etc

Barrie, a superb offer, I might well take you up on that, it might be for 2 though, Robinbastd wants to come along too (plus I need him as support
wagon, I have an impressive SVA first aid kit brewing!)

barrie, the rolling road was at tipton garage not far from me, its an old school garage and the place all the race boys take there cars to be set up.
the guy there is very good at wot he dos and is a bloody nice bloke. 3hrs there messing with my carbs etc and it only came to £65. thought id add a
little pic of me car, look at the dax type indicator brackets i knocked up. he he

Billy,
Don't fret about markings - just find one that's big enough, and has nice rounded edges.
I made mine from bits of a standard car mirror, but you may not have time to do that - I'm sure that someone on here will tell you of a saloon
mirror that'll do the job.

Sierra one should do it.
Drill the bottom where the sticky pad goes and screw it to the top of the scuttle with a reinforcing plate on the other side or block off the gap in
the roll bar so you can't see back through it then you don't need one. Vans with solid back doors don't have one.
